The most common thing people do with a form response is export it. Not because they need a spreadsheet, but because the spreadsheet is where their colleagues will look. Reporting inside OnlyForm exists so the export is optional.
Filtered views
A view is a saved filter on a form's responses. "Enterprise leads from this quarter", "Applicants who passed the screening question", "Everything with a rating under three". Views update live, can be pinned to the form's overview and have their own share link.
Share links
Any view can be shared with a link. Recipients see a read-only report with the charts and the table, without needing an OnlyForm account. Links can expire, require a password or be restricted to your company domain.
- Charts are picked automatically from the field type and can be switched.
- The table supports the same filters and sorting as the view.
- Nothing in the share link exposes fields you have hidden from the view.
Scheduled summaries
If your team lives in email or Slack, send them the report instead of a link. Summaries go out daily, weekly or monthly and include the headline numbers, the biggest changes and a link to the full view.
A report you have to go and find is a report nobody reads. Put it where the readers already are.
Exports still exist
CSV and JSON exports have not gone anywhere, and every view can be exported. The difference is that exporting is now something you do when you need the data somewhere else, not something you do to read it.
